# What assistance can see (https://docs.akollo.com/en/ai/privacy)

<Callout title="Planned">
  This area is planned. It is described here so you can prepare; it is not yet part of the current release.
</Callout>

## What it is [#what-it-is]

A model call receives only the fields that question needs. The person using assistance does not see records they
could not open themselves.

<Mermaid
  title="What happens to the data in a question"
  chart="`flowchart LR
A[Person asks] --> B{Could this person open the record?}
B -->|No| X[Left out]
B -->|Yes| C[Only the fields the question needs]
C --> D[Model call]
D --> E[Suggestion]
E --> F[Manager decides]`"
/>

## What goes into a call [#what-goes-into-a-call]

| A call may include                                                  | A call does not include |
| ------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------- |
| Declared skills, certificates, and the evidence behind a suggestion | Health |
| Completed work, as identifiers and amounts | Personality |
| Availability, as available, unavailable or unknown | Intent or emotion |
| Whether the person may do the work | Why someone is away |
| The team, when selection rates are compared | Pay |

Screen observations and application activity stay out of skill suggestions unless the institution later allows them.

<Callout type="info" title="Note">
  The inference server does not keep the question or the answer in its log.
</Callout>

## The selection check [#the-selection-check]

The selection check compares how often each team is chosen.

* It stores how often each team was chosen. It does not store names.
* Seniority is compared only when a band is recorded. No band is recorded in this release, so seniority is not
  compared.
* A small group is left out of the comparison.

## People decide [#people-decide]

Assistance suggests; a person decides.

| Output                  | Stays            | Until                                          |
| ----------------------- | ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| Skill suggestion | A suggestion | A manager accepts it. The employee can object. |
| Staffing recommendation | A recommendation | A manager decides.                             |
| Weekly summary          | A draft          | A manager approves it.                         |

<Callout type="idea" title="Tip">
  If you disagree with a skill suggestion about you, object to it. It stays a suggestion until a manager accepts it.
